Feeric Fashion Week 2018. Sibiu becomes a global stage with the designer
Spanish Jennifer Nun

The 11th edition of Feeric Fashion Week , held between July 17 and 22, 2018 in Sibiu (Romania), once again demonstrated why it is one of the most creative and cutting-edge fashion weeks in Eastern Europe.

That year, the event brought together more than 100 young designers from around the world to compete on the Feeric 33 platform, whose jury included prominent figures in international fashion, such as representatives from Vogue Italia , Elle Italia or ASVOF .

One of the most significant moments for Spanish talent was the participation of Jennifer Nun , a Galician designer with a background in architecture. In Sibiu, she presented her collection “DIS-OBEDIENT,” the result of a creative process that began in London during her time at Central Saint Martins. Her line stood out for its use of primary colors, sculptural volumes, and a direct inspiration from artists such as Tony Cragg and Richard Deacon, replicating the magic of their sinuous forms on fabric.

This year's catwalk was unconventional: the shows were organized in different emblematic spaces of Sibiu, such as old factories, historic streets or heritage courtyards, which further enhanced the artistic experience.

For the organizers, this edition confirmed Feeric's global reach as a platform for emerging fashion. As founder Mitichi pointed out, the event is "the future of fashion in Eastern Europe": a unique showcase for young designers and a constant invitation to rethink fashion as a creative, cultural, and social act.
